Superintendent

Location: Blue Bell, PA

Start Date: Immediately

Job Summary:

Full-time Site Superintendent needed to provide on-site management oversight for all phases of the construction project including daily coordinating of labor and subcontractors, materials and equipment, safety procedures, ensuring that specifications are being followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.  This position requires frequent coordination with Owners, Architects/Engineers, and Construction Consultants.

Essential functions:

  • Coordinates and supervises all construction activities
  • Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications
  • Maintains construction schedule, identifies and solves problems
  • Schedules inspections as necessary throughout the process
  • Maintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees
  • Prepares, schedules and supervises completion of a final punch list
  • Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately through enforcing the company’s Site Safety Policies
  • Ensures all company employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policy
  • Maintains a clean and organized job site, including the construction office

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills and well organized
  • Ability to maintain good relationships with the crew and Owner/​Client
  • Good leadership abilities and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF files, etc.​
  • 5 years past experience on construction projects valued between $5,000,000 and $30,000,000 is REQUIRED
  • Experience on construction management type projects a plus
  • Construction related education is a plus

Project Manager

Location: Blue Bell, PA

Start Date: Immediately

Job Summary:

Full Time Project Manager needed to provide management oversight for all phases of the construction project including coordinating labor and subcontractors, materials and equipment, payment processing, ensuring that specifications are being followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.

Essential functions:

  • Develops a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of project
  • Selects and coordinates work of subcontractors working on various project phases
  • Oversees performance of all trade contractors and reviews architectural and engineering drawings to make sure that all specs and regulations are being followed
  • Responsible for proper administration of construction contracts and for obtaining all necessary permits and licenses
  • Tracks and controls construction schedule and associated costs to achieve completion of project within time and monies allocated
  • Reports to Owners and Architects about progress and any necessary modifications of plans

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a four-year degree program in construction management or related field
  • Five years or more of experience assisting or supervising construction projects
  • Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Project Planner
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
